Electric surgical tables are increasingly popular devices. Their ability to freely rotate and adjust angles significantly reduces the workload on staff, making them ideal for urological, gynecological, and orthopedic surgeries. However, prolonged use may lead to tilting of the electric surgical table. What causes this, and how can it be resolved? Let's find out below:

Electric surgical tables are increasingly popular devices, offering free rotation and angle adjustment, significantly reducing workload for staff. They are well-suited for urological, gynecological, and orthopedic surgeries. However, prolonged use may lead to tilting. What causes this, and how can it be resolved? Let's find out:

First, check the solenoid valve for malfunctions. Two methods exist: measuring resistance with a multimeter, and checking for suction by placing a metal object. If the solenoid valve's action is normal, an oil blockage could also cause the problem.

Next, check the compressor pump for malfunctions. First, check the voltage at the compressor pump. Use a multimeter to measure the compressor pump resistance. If the above are normal, it's usually a failed reversing capacitor. If the electric surgical table moves in one direction but not the other, the one-sided malfunction is usually caused by the electromagnetic reversing valve. A faulty electromagnetic reversing valve may be due to a faulty control circuit or a mechanically jammed valve. The specific inspection method is to first measure whether there is voltage at the reversing valve. If the surgical table has voltage, disassemble and clean the reversing valve.

Due to prolonged use, a small amount of debris on the reversing valve's shaft may cause scratching and jamming, resulting in movement in only one direction. If the surgical table automatically lowers but very slowly, this is more common in mechanical surgical tables and is mainly due to a faulty lifting pump. After several years of use, very small impurities may accumulate at the inlet valve, causing minor internal leakage. The solution is to disassemble the lifting pump and clean it with gasoline, paying particular attention to the inlet valve.
